Payment Integration (Stripe & PayPal)

Integrating Stripe or PayPal with Hulk Form Builder allows you to collect payments, process donations, or authorize charges directly through your custom forms.

⚠️ Prerequisite Note: You must enter and save your API credentials in global Settings before enabling payment integration on individual forms.


1. Connect Payment Gateways in Global Settings

  1. In the app dashboard, go to SettingsPayment Integration.

  2. Select your payment provider (Stripe or PayPal).

  • For Stripe Integration:

    • Enter your Publishable Key and Secret Key (refer to the inline link for key location instructions).

    • Click Save changes.

  • For PayPal Integration:

    • Enter your Public Key, Private Key, Merchant ID, and select your Environment (Sandbox/Live).

    • Click Save changes.



2. Enable Payment Integration on a Specific Form

  1. Open your target form in Hulk Form Builder.

  2. Navigate to Form IntegrationPayment Integration.

  3. Toggle on Enable Payment Integration.

  4. Select your preferred payment gateway: Stripe or PayPal.



3. Stripe Payment Configuration & Features

When Stripe is selected, you can configure the following options:

  • Payment Types:

    • One-time purchase: Charges a fixed single payment upon form submission.

    • Donation: Allows users to input a custom payment amount.

    • Authorize a charge and capture it later: Places a temporary hold on funds (authorization) to be captured manually at a later time.

  • Payment & Localization Settings:

    • Payment Currency: Choose your target currency (e.g., USD, EUR, BAM).

    • Payment Cost: Set a fixed dollar amount or map the cost using dynamic form logic.

    • Card Language: Select the display language for the credit card field.

  • Display & Behavior Options:

    • Display price in the submit button: Shows the total charge directly on the form submission button.

    • Hide credit card details if there is no charge: Automatically hides card fields when the total calculated amount is zero.

    • Create a customer in your Stripe account: Automatically generates a Stripe customer profile for every submission.



4. PayPal Payment Configuration & Features

When PayPal is selected, configure the following options:

  • Payment Types:

    • One-time purchase: Standard single payment.

    • Donation: User-defined amount.

    • Authorize a charge and capture it later: Pre-authorization hold.

  • Payment Settings:

    • Payment Currency: Select your desired operational currency.

    • Payment Cost: Set the payment amount for the transaction.

    • Merchant ID: Must match your registered PayPal Merchant ID for the chosen currency.
