Integrating your wishlist with Zapier opens up a world of automation possibilities. By connecting the Hulk Advanced Wishlist app to Zapier, you can automatically pass intent data to CRM platforms, email tools, or fulfillment sheets whenever a user updates their personal shopping boards.
Supported Zapier Triggers
The integration provides real-time webhooks for three main storefront user behaviors:
Add Products to Wishlist: Fires instantly when a shopper clicks the wishlist icon on a product or collection card.
Remove Products from Wishlist: Fires the moment a customer removes an item from their wishlist dashboard.
Move Products from Wishlist to Cart: Fires when a customer decides to buy and transfers an item directly to the active shopping cart.
Step 1: Enable Zapier in the App Admin
Before building your automated workflows, you need to turn on the feature and generate your integration token inside your Shopify dashboard:
Log in to your Shopify Admin and navigate to Apps > Hulk Advanced Wishlist
Click on the Integrations tab from the top navigation panel.
Locate the Zapier card option and switch the status toggle to Enabled.
Under the same Integrations workspace layout, click on the API Tokens tab (or the token section inside the Zapier card).
Click Create Token (or Generate Token), copy the secure string of characters, and save it for the next step.
Step 2: Configure Your Zap Trigger
Log in to your Zapier Dashboard and click Create Zap in the top panel.
Click on the Trigger step and search for Hulk Advanced Wishlist in the application list.
Choose your preferred starting event from the list (e.g., Added to Wishlist) and click Continue.
When the account authentication prompt modal appears, paste your copied integration token value directly into the Advanced Wishlist API Key input field.
Enter your standard store URL string into the Shopify Domain field, matching the requested formatting pattern (
abcxyz.myshopify.com) and proceed.Click the Test trigger to run a simulation checkout check. Once verified, the editor will display a New Wishlisted Products Response payload containing your data sample variables.
Step 3: Create an Action Workflow
An action dictates exactly what your third-party software should do once the wishlist trigger is received:
Click on the Action step block in your Zap designer tree.
Select the platform you want to route the data to. For example, you can select Gmail to send notifications or Google Sheets to log records.
Choose the specific event outcome from the action dropdown menu and connect the account profile.
In the data-mapping fields block, configure your message layout by picking from the real-time variables passed by the app:
Message
Product Title
Variant Title
Customer Email
Product ID
User Type (Guest vs. Registered Customer)
Click Test Action to ensure the notification or row logs successfully.
Click Publish to put your automation live.
You can find, pause, or edit all your active automation tasks anytime under the Zaps tab in your main Zapier dashboard.
